Employment practices related claims and judgments against employers are on the rise, and every size of business faces the potential risk of a lawsuit due to an alleged act. An EPL charge or lawsuit can cost a business thousands of dollars in damages. Although 75% of all claims are found to be groundless, they still require significant expense to defend, and comprehensive General Liability coverage does not cover the types of injuries and damages typically alleged in employment related claims.
