Flood insurance – it’s a policy most homeowners would rather not think about, and may not even come to mind for condo owners and renters. However, with the predicted "warm" weather heading our way this week, melting snow will increase the chances of flooding. Floods are the number one natural disaster in the U.S., and flooding IS NOT covered by home, condo or renters insurance. Here are some flood myths and truths:
